The Monte Rei Golf Course

The Monte Rei North Golf Course which is located in the foothills of the eastern Algarve and to the north-east of Tavira, it is designed to eventually have two individual 18 hole courses. In 2007 the first of these championship golf courses was opened with 6.567 metres and a Par-72. Designed by Jack Nickaus both courses are to be Signature Courses and a superb delight for any visiting golfer. Each hole presents an attractive visual challenge and to ensure that golfers of most levels will play the course with great enjoyment. Golfers upon arrival receive an attentive 5 Star service, valet car parking, and a Buggy, all is included in the total cost of the green fee.

The layout of each hole has taken into consideration the various levels of play with a choice of distance and difficulty. Almost sculptured bunkers, which are numerous, decorate the fairways and around the greens. Lakes and water hazards have also been specially created to both make the layout more attractive and at the same time adding to the challenges. An outstanding course in the Algarve! The Monte Rei Golf Course should definitely be considered by serious golfers in their Golf Holiday Package plans.
