The Espiche Golf Course

The Espiche Golf Course is located to the north of the town of Lagos. Espiche is the latest golf course to be inaugurated in the Algarve having first being played on 2012. Its architect, Peter Saureman, has made every effort to blend its structure into the surrounding countryside. The Espiche Course has lakes, streams, indigenous planting, all ecologically enriching the biodiversity of the area.

The 18 hole Par-72 course takes full advantage of the natural undulating slopes and hollows requiring careful club selection and accuracy in shots. It has been said that on a particular windy day golfers may find the fairways to be rather tight leaving very little margin for error! Reception is in a temporary building but a proper Clubhouse with a restaurant and bar is in the process of being constructed.
